Round 1 - Well, I'm delighted with this effort! My putting, unusually, was probably the strongest part of my game. Add to that I managed to avoid any silly bogeys on the par 5's, and I was like a different player out there! Ok, a couple of chip-ins helped, but I don't normally get those either! Makes a refreshing change not to end my tourney after the first round hehe...

I also am happy with this score - first time I have seen the track - and been a busy day - just wanted to escape the world for a few min, kind of rushed through it - I like the course, could be suffering a bit from the celebrations of the last event lmao i kind of got my Chit together on the back nine

I will try to get screenshot of scorecard displayed…..when I remember how I used to do it for pro board several years ago. Steam don’t seem to make it easy. Anyway, Well done Bob for your excellent round 1, and with your new H/C you will likely be leading ?🥳 My round was very eventful🤔🫣😊😒 Best hole was an Eagle on 18th…..much needed, as I managed 4 bogies, mainly caused by aggressive putting…..not sensible on very fast greens…😳🫣 9 birdies helped a round of some 65 (-7 gross) but with my new tough H/C of +6…..😱🤯😂 I just managed -1 net. Not good enough with Bob’s good score😎 All good fun, Great work by Bob and Ian for the members Mel

And just to add to that I use a little free program called Greenshot to capture the image - but of course you can simply use your print screen button on keyboard, the only issue with that is you have to do all the resize crap. getgreenshot.org/simple little app that allows you to capture part of the screen, and then save it to the extension of your choice and of course .jpg works as well as any, here is an example I just did a simple capture from the banner - simply takes a matter of seconds Ian

Many thanks Ian, I have used F12 keyboard and it saves a screenshot to Steam, but they don’t seem to make it easy to access, to allow copy to a pro-board. I will try a few ways as you describe. Not sure how many (or any) scorecards I will want to post……ha.ha…LOL Mel

Not sure how many (or any) scorecards I will want to post……ha.ha…LOL Mel I personally am not a steam fan but unfortunately that's where this game is, their coding is terrible. We try to do all of our scorecards good and bad, but of course we miss a few. (short story I remember 3 putting the 18-hole one time and lost my temper - well after I replace my now broken monitor and found where the mouse landed - I had forgotten the screen shot).
So, we add a few comments, just keeps the board alive, and we post some images etc etc all in good fun. I also will play most guys ghosts along the way just to make sure we follow (GODS) oops I mean BOB's rules No chipping No master clubs We even had a guy playing two accounts, not much we have not seen here - Sometimes it's hard for members to understand we are playing against the pros, not each other, the concept is amazing if you think about it, and as in real golf some courses fit your eye and others don't. I tell you what I despise more than anything, is guys that shoot a bad round and then quit - do you know how long you would last on the PGA doing that well I can tell you twice, and you pay a large fine. For my screenshots I use Paint Shop Pro 5, a free download and easy to use. It must be easy if I can use it!! Then I upload to IMGUR, copy direct link and post here - no resizing necessary.

Thanks for advice on adding photos. I will eventually get the scorecard photos but maybe need a bit more time to play with different solutions, as I am away for a few days and will just about get 4 rounds played (I hope) before we travel to see grandchildren in London for a few days. Anyway, round 2 was my best so far in this group….-4 front 9 solid, but back 9 rather better…-7 for an overall -11 (+6) =-5 net? No dropped shots was most pleasing. Good conditions helped but I see round 3 looks horrible 😳😫💨 so this likely to be as good as it gets…LOL All good fun, Thanks again, Bob and Ian for advice and work you do. Mel

Round 1 After an absolute shambles of a game, Fasts, slows, shooters clubs going longer than usual then sometimes shorter i was over the moon to get off the course and forgot screenie, 76 was my score. Round 2 i thought couldn't possibly be as bad, i got off to a decent start, then all hell let loose again, i seem to get cycles of this, the game plays great for a couple of weeks then boom you would think i never played it before, holes 3 thru 7 effectively ended any slim chance i had of getting something out of this event. Back 9 settled down a bit but not great.

Round 2 - After my better than satisfactory opening round I was expecting the worst. Instead, I ended up playing one of my best ever tour rounds! When I chipped in for bird on #1 that gave me a big boost, and a clean front had me full of confidence. After the bird on #10 I had a couple of shaky holes, but birds on #15 and #16 settled me down. The best was yet to come though - on #18 my approach left me a 6-foot eagle putt, which I duly holed. There's something about this course I like, not sure what it is...

This week, I have had to play rather ahead of my usual schedule this week, as travelling to London to see grandchildren for a few days, so round 3 and 4 played ( Sorry no normal scorecards images as yet, I think the small ones above show Round 2, 3 and 4 saved from Steam, into my photos. They will open fully when I click on them. Do they work for others viewing? Hopefully, next week I will have time to set up the imaging site to get an image of correct size, unless this suits others ? Round 3 Despite high winds (cruel Bob🫣😂) I still managed some consistent scoring on both front and back 9 with 1 bogie, poor chip and putt from rough and very happy with -10( -4 net?) Bob still going to run away with this week, I think. Good shooting Bob🏌️♂️🥳 Round 4…Not nice (real) golfing weather, rain and high winds……..not conditions I would venture out on my Greetham Valley golf course in Rutland 💨🌨🤯 However in a warm dry study, with a cup of coffee, the Nicklaus course is much more pleasant, if demanding and stressful 🫣😱🤔. Wind direction changes do test us…….but still managed to score well, as the softer and slow greens allowed the ball to stop (thank you Bob👍😂) Another silly bogie when overhitting on par3 5th., but a “bounce back” Eagle on 6 was an excellent “Brucie bonus” (Older Brits will understand that😂) Solid front and back nines, thank goodness!😇 Happy with a final score of -10 See you next week, Mel Great work Bob and Ian
