Not bad for not playing much lately. I couldn't get the putts to the holes. A couple bonehead shots but not bad.

Round 1 - Was expecting this to be a lot tougher than it was. The only bogey came on #15 when I missed a nasty little 6-footer for par. Apart from that, it was all good, even my putting was strong again. Hope the course gets more difficult, otherwise the pro's will get blown away. Ok, that's me done until next Sunday...

One of those days I just could not get into it, was hitting full shots when should have flopped, never followed the map properly and was in sand too much, no excuses just one of those days. What is the old saying S*** happens. - onward

Round 1 Had a good 14 hole run missing a couple of chances , then totally misjudged the drive on 15 and ended up in deep rough, managed to green it but missed the par save, only blemish on the round and no issues like last weeks debacle.

Sorry in my haste to finish the round, before lunch being served……and second call from my wife….😉😳😘I forgot to save the scorecard. Can’t now see a way to retrieve it. However I was delighted to score my best round in this club. -15 (all birdies) no dropped shots, so very pleased. Softer conditions did help the ball stop or not run away into rough etc. Par 5 18th fortunately, going in 2, the ball just hit and cleared the bank but stopped in the fringe to allow a flop instead of a 70 foot putt if it had cleared the rough in the air. Whew….

Thanks for the card post Ian. I forget to use ghosts. Can be quite helpful. I think Ginner uses them a lot. Cheers, Mel PS Are your Zoom calls business?, or meant to be pleasure? We use Portal in the TV screen when video chats with grandchildren or my sister in Brisbane. Great technology, especially when Covid stopped visits.

Round 2 Tucson…….after the “Lord Major’s Show” in round 1, is the phrase that sums up a reasonable round (-10) but too many shots to the green not close enough🥴😂, and one or two poor putting. All good fun Attachments:

All business - we use Teams and Zoom as well as google chat - purely business because we are scattered all over Canada and the USA - all secured connections encrypted. Ian
