This course is way out of my league - don't have the game for it - oh well onto next week for me. 70 with a 4 handicap = 74 Had a melt down on hole 7 - have you ever played 11 holes with 3 woods - I am going to go pick bottles to make enough money for new clubs - see u next week.

I know how you feel Ian. This course does not give you anything. Greens and fairways seem to be designed to divert and redirect the ball unless you hit it in the perfect spot. No straight putts. And the greens do not seem to break as expected. Decent round until the last hole. Don't want to talk about it, so I dodged the reporters. Onward.

R2. But for the eagle, this would have been one to forget. I thought I had improved my putting, but not putting these greens very well.

Round 1 - Firstly, this is not an easy course. Secondly, the conditions were not easy either. Thirdly, bearing in mind the first two points, I am very happy with my level par round, which so easily could have been better. Ideal start on the 1st, then got mugged on #3 when my downhill par putt didn't take the blatantly obvious break and cost me two dropped shots. Had numerous birdie chances, none of them easy, then fell foul of the 10th green. Rallied well with two birdies, parred both of the 500-yard monster par 4's, so very pleased. However, I've a feeling things aren't gonna get much easier...

Rd 1
I couldn't find the right clubs on approaches. Couple double bogies inside five feet hurt too.
With the greens falling to one side and fast made it difficult to judge the speed.
Planning on the ball to run on approach then stop dead and some end up rolling back off the green was brutal......
Thanks for the ride fellas

Round 2 - I was caught cold on the 1st, but stayed calm until the 5th where my tournament ended. A disastrous hole, but again after it I carded 8 straight pars and then, ironically, my only bird came on the monster par 4 14th. My tee on #16 looked perfect, but the headwind hardly affected the shot distance and a double knocked me back even further. Finally my drive on #18 also looked good, until it pitched and shot off into the heavy rough resulting in another dropped shot. Knew this would be a tricky round, but that 5th hole - BEWARE!!

Les - I thought I was the only idiot that did that - It is nice to see that some one else makes old man mistakes - BUT I will add you did very well with masters to finish plus 1 - well done. Not sure I have the game any more to keep with the kids (Uncle BOB) Did you see his last game last tourny 62 net 58 - either he just got laid or was promised one. Onward Les see you on the course cheers Ian

After spending 3 days picking bottles outside of BOB'S house - I managed to make enough money to purchase a new set of clubs - Tiger Woods - special P irons only $2590.00 CDN Then I added the new Taylor Made driver only $900.00 CDN and the DISTANCE Ball $24.00 a dozen Look out now - with all this new technology - I might break par LMAO A special thanks to Bob for leaving all his bottles along the ditch as he goes for a walk and enjoys his cigar

Round 2 - Greens got me again - I had to play I owed it to Bob to finish this tournament - after all the hard work that goes into setting it up ! I did prove one thing to myself its not the clubs its the "CLUBBER" LMAO - if not for a brain dead putt that turned into a triple, I may have broke par - had a 47 foot putt 2 feet up and hit it 15 feet thinking it was 2 feet down which resulted in another 47 foot putt well the score tells the tale.
