Round 3 - Neither Ian or myself played well. This course, and especially the greens, are just too difficult. It will be a relief to finish the tournament! Ian refused to comment in case anything he said could be used against him in a court of law!! My one ray of sunshine came on the first hole, when my approach from heavy rough bobbled its way into the cup for a rare eagle 2!! After that it was all downhill...

I never did find the right yardages, always a club short.

Round 4 - Very fast and fast green speeds don't suit this course at all I think, they make it far too difficult. Moderate speed is very good, as I found out in this round - or was it just that my putting was better than it usually is? Even so, I left a couple inches short, but I was pleased with my general play. I'm looking forward to next week's greens already...

Well my goal after round one was to break par on this tournament and I achieved that - also shot a round of 67 gross - very pleased with the come back. BUT I am so pleased this course is behind us - I have ordered the bulldozers ..... lol  |
