276 (-4) was the winning score back then - can you beat it??!!

ROUND 1Couldn't judge the pace of the greens until after the turn. Left a few short before that. Not too unhappy with my score, only 2 behind Ian and there are 3 rounds to bridge that gap hehe...

I couldn't get the pace down, same 'ole 
I like the different speeds though, takes the boredom out of playing the fast all the time. Still the same scores for me either way!

ROUND 2Failed to adapt to the faster green speed on the front and left several putts short. A different story on the back though, making very good par saves on #15 and #16. Messed up #17 but clawed my way back to level par with a fine bird on #18. When these greens get faster scoring becomes more difficult...

ROUND 3I was all over the place in this round - missing fairways, missing greens, but my round was saved by 3 shots. On the par 4 6th my pitch rolled around to drop perfectly into the cup for an eagle!! I saved the shot if you want to see it lol. On the par 5 13th I was in a spot of bother, but my sand-shot found the bottom of the cup on the second bounce for a surprise birdie! I also saved that shot hehe. Finally, on the 18th I misjudged my approach and missed the green - but I holed the chip for another unlikely birdie!! Going to be a nailbiter in the final round...

ROUND 4This was more like it. A lot more solid today, made several good par saves and my driving was much better. Holed a long birdie putt on the 8th and although that was my last bird, I was solid on the back - except for that tough 15th which I disappointingly bogeyed. Pipped Ian by 1 to grab the title!!!
