I'm going to miss this tourney at Olympia Fields as I fly to Portugal this coming Tuesday and return a week later.

I've also entered the conditions for the 2004 US Open at Shinnecock the week after, so good luck with that one too!!!

In 2015, with the hosting of the 2015 US Amateur Championship, Olympia Fields joined only eight other American clubs - including Winged Foot, Oakland Hills and Cherry Hills - that have hosted the United States Open Championship (1928, 2003) the United States Senior Open Championship (1997), the PGA Championship (1925, 1961) and the United States Amateur Championship (2015). In June 2017, Olympia Fields hosted the KPMG PGA Women's Championship, and in the summer of 2020, the BMW Championship, continuing such championship traditions in line with it being the "Host to Champions."

It took me a few holes to adjust to the green speed. Left allot of putts at the edge of the holes. Plus, I forgot to save the scorecard
