ROUND 1A solid round, apart from a balls-up on #17, the highlight of which was a curling 36-footer on #2 that earned me my first birdie. Missed a handful of other chances but I have to be pleased with the score.

ROUND 2The front went to plan, no dropped shots and just the 1 bird was very satisfactory - even though I left a birdie putt inches short on the first hole. The back nine wasn't quite so straightforward. Three clumsy holes threatened to derail the round, but a chip-in bird on #15 and a planned birdie on #16 pulled me back to level par - which is where I finished, quite happily on a Pin 4 round!
Randy, I learned early on that with putting you very often just have to aim for par, with a lag followed hopefully by a short par putt - and sometimes the lag goes in! Also, you have to be particularly careful of those downhill putts but you almost certainly know that!! I'm assuming you use 'Q' and 'V' to look at the reverse angle from the hole to check the borrow?! Just a thought!

Some encouragement finishing up the scorecard this round..... Still haven't found my groove from not playing for a spell.

Well.... I gave up at 17, almost drop one in but a tad short and then the ball rolled back clear off the green. On the 12th try I give! This course wasn't meant to be played on very fast greens...... I liked the course but hated the design of the greens   |

Well, after cooling off I was mostly upset about my play, after taking some time off I was happy to get back in the saddle (cart) lol. What surprised me was, I had to relearn the way to play. Still learning...... lol
Time to move on, let's play........

ROUND 3A round of 2 halves. Can't explain it - I guess my mindset was completely wrong on the front. Can't recall the last time I stopped playing after 9 holes...

I have been there BOB - I am having an awful time controlling the fast swings - in fact I have walked outside and kicked the damn garbage can so much - I now need a new garbage can  I guess that's why we love this game we can't beat it  |
