ROUND 1This course's main defence is it's length. Well, it's ONLY defence really. Very flat and the greens are not very challenging. That's why this round of 70 (-3) should really have been better. Average approaches and an ice-cold putter were the problems. Had a bogey on the 12th when I found water, but I'll be hoping to score better in later rounds...

I'm not sure if it was my putting being better or if it was the flat greens, whichever it is, I'll take the score for not playing in quite a while. Only a couple mistakes here and there. We'll see if I can work them out!

Oppps!!!! I didn't get the scorecard!

Nothing felt right from the beginning, it lasted through all 18 holes. I left many putts right at the hole, I couldn't get a grip on the green speed nor the wind.
Hole 8 fairway with a south wind isn't reachable. As is I think it was #16 or 17.
Rats!!!!!
Felt good to play again though!

ROUND 2Still not quite on my game but just about good enough to stay level with Ian, although if I hadn't messed up on #18 I'd have edged ahead of the old man lol. Was very glad to card an eagle on #5 and yes Randy, the 8th wasn't reachable in regulation but holes like that help to keep the scoring realistic!! Looking forward to the last 2 rounds...

ROUND 3WOW! Great round 3 Ian!! I wish I hadn't seen your score before I started - instant pressure there from the off!! For most of my round it was a bad day at the office, but I staged a mini-revival towards the end. I think Ian is too far ahead now, but we will see...
