I am going into treatments tomorrow I tried to play quickly today to get them done - but no way I can do it - I did get two done but not very well I am home Saturday will try to finish but not sure how I will feel. It is too bad there is not some players to make this interesting - hard to get into it when no targets It may be time to just scrap all the work Bob. It is hard to get motivated to play

I agree totally Ian. But had a message from Randy today and looks like he's going to start playing again. I warned him about the extreme conditions though, so we'll see what happens.
Hope the treatments go well mate, hope to see you soon...

ROUND 1 Tough course!! A battle all the way around, not helped by some poor putting - apart from Hole 1 where I sank a beautiful 34-footer for birdie. Had some ups and downs but managed to creep under par and stay there. Going to be a difficult week...

ROUND 2Thought this round might go well when my 141-yard approach on the 1st found the cup for an eagle!! Two bogeys pegged me back but holed a great curling putt on #9 to go under par again. Followed that with a chip-in bird on #10, and another tweeter on #12. Messed up the monster par 3 16th but played the 17th well enough to get the shot back. A very enjoyable round where my course management was very good. Super course!!

ROUND 3 Very happy with a bogey-free round which helped to increase my lead over Ian from 4 to 5 shots - but I realise it's far from over yet!! I did miss a few makeable birdie putts but my general play was solid. Nearly there...

ROUND 4After a shaky front 9 where I played the par 3's terribly, I settled down on the back to fend off Ian's challenge. Enjoyed this week and was able to find some consistency for a change.
