ROUND 1This will be tougher than last week I think. An up and down round, thought I might just finish at level par but it wasn't to be. The course played just as a US Open course should in these conditions, a great challenge. I might enjoy this week too...

ROUND 2Seemed tougher than the opening round, mainly because of some devilish pin placements - so I was very pleased to grab a late bird on #18 to repeat my opening score of +1. The aim now is to work my way under par for the tourney - but it's going to be difficult. Have to keep an eye on Ian also...

ROUND 3Well at least I'm being consistent this week!! Today my putter let me down - otherwise I may well have dipped under par. Ian had a good day so it should be a nail-biting finish!!

A disappointing 71 never looked like being good enough to hold off Ian who produced a great final round to make it 2 wins in 2 events!! My approach play and putting were both poor and I seemed to lack motivation. Oh well, on to next week...

Rd 1  RD 2  RD 3  Rd 4 - well I thought it was over after my terrible round 2 - so I just went with the I don't care attitude and hit every shot with out looking at the map - just where it pointed me - maybe this is the way to play this game.  I am out of town for the week and will have limited internet - will do my best to finish Ian |
