ROUND 1I don't remember ever playing this course before, but what a beauty it is! It was an absolute pleasure walking through the lush, green pastures of the Alpine foothills while enjoying the great variety of holes. But I can't help thinking that the course also has the potential to bite you in the ass if you're not careful. Some of the greens are too easy though - as long as you hit them in regulation. I bogeyed the monster par 4 5th when I should have sunk the par putt, then a 'very slow' (a rarity for me these days) cost me two more strokes - but I rallied well and am delighted with my score...

round 1 - well.. I spent too much time in the rough hills, probably should have taken a few unplayables but I just rode em out. Idk if it was me or the computer but I've never had this many mishits. hopefully I can get back on track!

Interest level is at an all time low - lost my game timing - I am in clinic thru - Friday and Sunday - so I may try to finish today if I can keep my hands steady   |

Round 1 having a lot of tempo problems especially on approach shots and putting, its as if i have the yips. Fortunately as my game is getting worse on here my real game is improving so im quite happy if it stays that way.  Round 2. Very poor start and front 9, had a decent spell in middle of back 9 but it was surrounded by snots. Still got tempo problems but am past caring now.  |

I'm away from Sunday to Tuesday (wife's birthday), spending it at the Old Success Inn at Sennen Cove, near Lands End - so the final leaderboard will be posted on Tuesday next week, just slightly later than usual...

ROUND 2Struggled with the flat stick in this round, and my approach play wasn't on song either. However, I scrambled through and finished well. Really enjoying the course - so far!

ROUND 3A challenging round, especially with my unpredictable putting. The front nine went well, but then the 10th and 11th threatened to derail my round. In fact, I did well to only drop 2 strokes on the 11th! That seemed to spur me on and I responded with 5 much needed birdies in the last 7 holes - definitely a result! This really is a superb course and Round 4 should be a nail-biter...

ROUND 4Knew I had to play well if I was to finish ahead of Hans Kunok and fortunately, for a change, my putter performed superbly. I dropped some great saving putts and holed some important birdie putts - just what I had hoped for. I think this will be the first win of the season for me - it's been a long time coming but hopefully I can grab another one or two...The final leaderboard will be posted on Tuesday as I'm away until then.

I was not able to play the last round, my health would just not allow it - I have not been able to build any banners moving forward I hope to be feeling better into the new year -
