ROUND 1My first ever round here and I was greatly impressed. Very long but you also have to think your way around. Strategically placed trees make it interesting and the greens are not extreme in any way, but very fair - so far. Very pleased with my effort, even if I did drop a couple of shots - it's hard not to here. Tempting fate but I'm looking forward to the rest of the week...

ROUND 2Was coasting along and playing well when, quite inexplicably, I lost my swing timing. Result? Three consecutive bogeys. Got one shot back on #17 and very nearly another one on #18, but those three dropped shots were a bit of a body blow...

ROUND 3Satisfied with a 'clean' round, made a few good saves, sunk a handful of good putts, drove well - but my approaches were not quite accurate enough and I missed a couple of putts that I expected to hole.

ROUND 4A very up and down front including a near-albatross but pleased to be under par at the end of it. The back was a fight not to drop shots, and I thought I was going to tie with Marek but finished with a dropped shot on #18 instead. I really enjoyed this week's course, it was a constant battle but a very enjoyable one...
