ROUND 1I'm always in awe of this course and it took me 6 holes to settle down and really focus. Over par after the front and told myself it was time to knuckle down and start thinking. It worked fine until I pulled my drive way left on #17 and didn't quite save par. Almost dropped another shot on #18 after a poor approach but made a good sand save. Gonna be an enjoyable week whatever happens...

I have played 3 rounds but have limited access to wifi - will try to post scores again and will try to finish by Sunday - but not looking good at this point.

I know you're a hard-nosed bastard on the outside but inside you're a good-hearted regular guy, and I also know you won't give in easily, so keep going - I need you to keep calculating those handicaps!!

ROUND 2Was in the right mindset from the start and it showed in my play. A solid front was followed by a free-scoring back, only a lipped-out par putt on #18 spoiling the card. Very happy so far...

My computer nearly came to a stop at weekend, it took an hour to load game and when i hit a shot the swing was out of sync with the mouse. I striped it down and it was clogged solid with dust the fans were hardly moving, cut a long story short i gave it a good clean and reset my mouse settings as they also were not responding as i had lost the app. Tried a game and it seems ok. Round 1 and 2 Gameplay was ok again however i have what seems to be the virtual yips especially on putting more so in round 2. However after the few weeks ive just had i am over the moon with my rounds. Took the sadist around with me, seems he has found his game. Round 1  Round 2  |

ROUND 3What an up and down round this was!! Briefly, here were the notable events...
Hole 1 - Dropped a 30-footer for bird - great start!!
Hole 2 - Solid birdie - this could be my day!
Hole 4 - Very Slow off the tee and a double-bogey ensued - back down to Earth with a big bump!
Front - the aim was to be level par at the turn, then attack on the back, so not too unhappy about being +1.
Hole 10 - Great approach left a tap-in bird.
Hole 12 - Excellent curling putt for another birdie!
Hole 15 - Disaster!! Laid up with my second, then 3 times saw my approaches roll back off the green - double bogey and not happy!
Hole 16 - Very good tee and a simple birdie putt.
Hole 18 - Made a very welcome sand save for an even par round - satisfactory in these conditions!

ROUND 4Not much motivation to score well due to Les's mammoth overnight lead, and for the first half of the round it was more or less hit and hope. Concentrated a bit more on the back and played very well. Enjoyed the tough challenge this week and my game generally held up pretty well...

I am away from my pc with all the files for handicaps and graphics - hope to be back to it by tomorrow - Tuesday - my old laptop can not manage them - what I have on the laptop is corrupt and I have backups there - should be sorted later I hope.

While you're here, I suggest that we have a maximum of -3 for a handicap. + figures don't matter...

I will pay close attention to that - in some cases it may be necessary depending on circumstances - example a new player to the game - moving forward if will post handicaps in private message before posting so we can review
Somehow new players need to be attracted and I do not know how to do it
