Kudo's to Les for talking me into Master clubs - this has brought new excitement to the game for me - I actually stayed interested for 18 holes - ain't gona win shit but don't care saw a bunch of fast and very slows makes you concentrate more on scrambling and it may bring the scores more into reality - was looking at some interesting stats PGA tour average FW hit 47% - Scrambling for par 65% - 10 foot putts made PGA tour 68.3% - 15 to 20 foot range 53.3% The winning average in 2017 was -15.93 so if you work that out that's roughly -3.98 or -4 I think Bob has this very close - Master clubs bring the element of surprise into play Example a very slow - this may not excite some that want -10 all day - but for what we set out to accomplish it's very close. Of course speaking as a Golfer not a gamer  |

ROUND 1This is going to be a fun, challenging week!! What with the very narrow fairways with overhanging trees, and the undulating greens, scoring well could be difficult. I didn't play well in my warm-up, but luckily my game improved when I teed off here and I'm content with my opening score. My best moment came on the 7th where I sank a curling putt for birdie. And it's great to see so many players start the tourney - but I wonder how many will finish?!

Round 1. This is horrendous fellas, i have no idea where the ball is going or what I'm going to get with each shot, is it a fast, slow very fast or a darn perfect, ( i had one in this round) then it doesn't end there i am 3 putting from 5 feet getting shooters all the time. This is happening with both Pro and Master clubs. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game , had a complete clean out on my computer even bought an add blocker so i get none of the shit coming thru and still the god dam same. I am very close to calling it a day to be honest. What a parcel of shite I'm playing both on here and it seems to be effecting my real game too.  |

Les, maybe your mouse sensitivity is set too high?! Just a thought. Since I started playing on my new laptop my driving is almost straight, my approaches are a lot more accurate, and very fast swings are very rare now, as are very slows. Might be worth looking at...

You know Les - I feel your pain all I have to say is fk them - hell I will build them all trophy's if that's what they want - I took your advice and switched to master clubs and I am all over the place - fasts very fasts slows very slows and remember I shake like a leaf - I am simply using this game as a way to escape life for a few minutes - key word game - Like you I am a or was a scratch golfer I know what it's like out there and I have totally completely quit comparing the two. Hell if you want low scores just straight line it - it's a fkin computer its not that smart. I like you was comparing it to outside as soon as I gave that thought up, I started to relax and just have fun with it, now I have more fun getting out of trouble than I did scoring another bird. There is no pay check at the end of the day here - lets keep going and see how bad we can actually play - lets show our escapes rather than another bird - we are all too good of friends to give up now. ROUND 2Had a dream start, but the course and the conditions gradually drew out mistakes in my game and I started to leak shots. I was almost going to wave the white flag of surrender, but then I birdied #15, holed out for an eagle 2 on #16, then chipped in for a birdie on #17 from a horrible spot - all of which clawed me back to level par. What a ride!!! I'm mentally exhausted LOL...
Oh Ian, if you want to do your magic I saved my hole-outs on #16 and #17 hehe... Sorry took so long not been feeling well

ROUND 4Another good challenging round, and I was happy to collect only one blemish on my card - a double on the 6th courtesy of a badly placed third shot and a fourth that found the stream. With a little more 'run' I would have holed maybe three putts but it wasn't to be. Enjoyed the course and not too displeased with my form with The Masters coming up in a couple of weeks...
