OH boy this course is going to be a challenge when conditions change - map is hard to follow Anyway my goal going in is to have a clean card - a clean card results in low scores - VF VF VFast on this track will be killer  |

Round 1Never liked this course, don't know why, and when I saw Ian's opening score I just thought 'what's the point?'. Anyway, started well but wasn't really focussed, hence the bogeys. Just going through the motions this week I think and maybe experimenting a bit...

I did not mean to scare you away - I have switched all my long clubs - ghost my round and you will see what I mean - I got some lucky bounces along the way - example 18 - hit the bank in front of the green and bounced up - to I don't know 10 feet - one foot either way I am in the water - couple times from the deep rough took 3 extra clubs and rolled to a couple feet - that round could have just as well been a -5 , I missed a ton of fairways - map is hard to read. |

Round 1 Made the fatal mistake of birdie on hole 1, could not get another on front side, to be honest it was a struggle on them moderate greens, they just simply dont work for me, however the back 9 started well then once again i hit a par rut until 18th and how i birdied that is anyone's guess i was all over the place. Only consolation was the clean card for a change. This is going to be another tough week my game is well off. Onwards.  |

I have totally lost interest at the moment - I am away next week will try to do handicaps monday - hope to be able to play by friday next week - I will finish this one by Sunday. Treatments start tuesday - not sure about next week at all.  |

Round 2 Took Ian around for some company and he won the front 9, we both had a silly snot on back 9 which i won, however overall Ian pipped me by a shot. Difficult track this needs your full attention.  |

Round 2What a difference a day makes!! Started this round yesterday and couldn't do a thing, so I decided to call it a day after 9 holes. Tonight I played the back - and hardly put a foot wrong, carding 7 birdies!! What a strange game!! I'm convinced it's all down to mindset...

ROUND 3
After opening with 2 birdies my expectations for this round increased, but 10 straight pars later I was brought back to reality. Then a badly hit approach to the par 5 13th got wet and I dropped a shot. 4 more pars followed, and although I made a mess of the 18th I managed to save par. Tough round for me, but on the plus side there's only one round left to play here...

 Round 4 Having problems uploading screenshots at minute, anyhow played steady in round 4 shooting a 65 with one blemish on the card a snot on hole 14, i can also safely say i left a few out there with weak putting. Onwards to next week. |

ROUND 4Not in contention so no pressure. Had a tap-in eagle on #3, and then a bogey on #6 seemed to make me more aggressive and I birdied the next 4 holes. Finished the round solidly with 3 more birds for easily my best showing of the week. Goodbye Dubai, I won't miss you...
