Round 1Started well but a poor approach and a bad putt around the turn pegged me back. Good birds on #14 and #18 ended a satisfactory opener for me. Lovely challenging course...

Round 2With a tough course and challenging conditions my target was a level par round. At halfway all was good - no bogeys and a solitary birdie, and I was playing well. A run of pars on the back ended after I found my first bunker of the round on #15, then got mugged with my birdie putt which rolled off the green, resulting in my only dropped shot. A well-earned bird on #18 completed a very satisfactory round, although I did have to make a bunch of clutch putts on the way. Hopefully I can continue my solid play in the next two rounds...

Round 3Struggled with my rhythm for most of this round but still managed to avoid any dropped shots - until late on. Putted well without much luck, but my game sprang into life on the 15th and 16th. Unfortunately I then had an annoying bogey on the long par 3 17th, but got the shot back on #18. My best round of the event so far, I really like this course!!

Ian, your Handicap is going to go through the roof very, very soon !!! well that's why we designed it - I am back to hospital on the 14th so I suspect the game to go bad from there on. |

My goal on this round was to get a clean card - 4 rounds no bogies leads to good scores - I never play well in RUBBER Boats  |

Round 4Four under-par rounds in a row - what's going on ??!! Started well, had a wobble in the middle, then came back to score towards the finish. Best shot was my tee on the par 3 14th which left a 3-foot birdie putt - and these days I'm not missing those!! Very enjoyable week, four decent rounds on a difficult track - I'm looking forward to the rest of the season...
