For the purposes of tournament earnings, the 43 events have been classified into 5 categories.
Category 1 (4 events) - Major tournaments.
Category 2 (4 events) - 3 WGC tourneys + the DP World Tour Championship.
Category 3 (8 events) - 7 ROLEX tourneys + Australian PGA Championship.
Category 4 (11 events)

This makes the task of calculating earnings easier for me because I can prepare 5 sets of tournament winnings before the season begins.
