Brutal winds threatened to derail the efforts of the field today but, admirably, they dealt with them very competently. Bob Fletcher's 68 left him tied for 4th and expecting another good finish, but Ian McKinley came unstuck and could only muster a 76, dropping him to 11th spot. Les Souter's 68 meant he now has an 8-stroke lead over the field going into the final round, and it looks very much like yet another win for him...
