Round 1 - Talk about frustrating!! I managed the course so well for 16 holes, then bogeyed the last 2. Nearly started in spectacular fashion when my 67-foot double-breaker birdie putt burned the hole edge on #1. Played solidly after that until #17 when a poor sand shot left me a 2-foot uphill par putt - and I hate those. On #18 my approach left a difficult 2-putt, which I didn't make. Oh well, still 3 rounds to do something...

Round 1Played steady but couldn't sink the putts. Missed a 3 footer for par on #7. The textures are excellent just wish the designer would have picked a better background. Liked the course but the greens are tricky.

Round 2 - A solid front was very pleasing but those last few holes got me again!! A couple of bad decisions cost me a shot on #16, good bird on #17 got it back, then had a tricky 2-putt for par on #18 and, just as in Round 1, I didn't make it. Have to say this is a perfect Open course, long but fair, and the greens are just the right difficulty level. I let 4 birdie putts get by, but that's golf...

Round 2What could of been.....I got distracted on #15 and #16, missed the tricky putts. Game is coming together!

Round 1 - course is very playable. My main struggle was leaving putts within 1 foot. I felt confident coming out of the front and decided to take an aggressive line on #10 which resulted in my ball getting a bit too wet.. starting the back with a double really frustrated me and made me finish the round being really aggressive. which you can see did not work in my favor. I continued to leave putts inches away and found the water one more time on #16. I have a lot of work to do and will need to keep my mental focus so my poor decisions don't snowball further!

round 2 - Much better performance on my part. still need to dial in my putting, I had an opportunity for another 3-4 strokes easily but I left putts within inches. #13 approach found water after I got distracted and hooked it, but I was able to put it behind me and move on.

Round 3It took me a few holes to get the green speed dialed in. Mostly just keep the ball close to the holes. #17, I left myself with a downhill putt, it didn't end well :-)

Round 3 - Had to rush this a little because I have a busy weekend ahead, and I paid the penalty. What little game I have just didn't turn up, and my little grey cells weren't focused at all. I'll have more time for Round 4 on Sunday night, hopefully I will play better then...

Round 4Slow green got me on the first hole. Play was good, only my aiming onto the greens seems it needs worked on  :-)
