Round 1 - Hate making a bad start to an event so why do I do it?! Couldn't judge the pace of putts on the front, and when I did finally adjust to the green speed on the back nine I couldn't find the correct lines!! I have bad memories of this course from ages ago, but I'm determined to do better in subsequent rounds...

Round 1 A little better this round with my swing. I had a couple wild shots on the front side then calmed down on the back end. We'll see if it is a fluke in the coming rounds. I sure would like to put 4 rounds together just once :-)  |

Round 1 Steady start on front 7 spoilt with a 3 putt on 8 for the only snot on the card, then the round burst into life with 5 birds and an eagle in next 7 holes . Chipping and putting was a bit better this round but still needs more work. Round 2 looks nasty conditions which will probably bring me back to normal. One thing i do miss is the multi player rounds we used to play, now they were fun. Onwards.  |

Yes they were!! No reason why we can't resurrect them really, just need to find out when everyone can play. I usually play my rounds quite late, but I should be able to play earlier if required. Thursdays are out for me though, that's my Pool League night!!

I would enjoy multi player (not in the season single stroke rounds though….I have enough trouble concentrating as it is)
However, better ball, alternate play, etc would be fun… could even be a separate comp for “bragging rights” countries or counties or regions etc.
With a few more players we could even do a mini “Ryder Cup” type comp?
All good fun

 Appletown Rd 1 Very pleased to avoid an early bogie which has been in my last 4 rounds😃, even better was a “top and tail” Eagle on 1 and 18🥳 The pin position on 18 was very generous…..even though it didn’t look like it was🤔😨 as the ball sailed towards the green🫣 Steadily adding birdies, but still managed a missed 2 foot putt on 9…….”yips” can occur here as well as real golf🤯🤬 as the ball dribbled past with a feeble stroke🤪 Some of the rough I found from the tee was not as nasty as last week….thank goodness Bob Lovely course as well made for a very enjoyable round😁 |

Round 2 The round and conditions i tend to play crap in but alas i couldn't have got off to a better start bird then an ACE on hole 2, ( saved in my Golfer info) but like a numpty made a right mess of hole 3 for a snot. Steadied down and finished front 9 on -4. Played well on back 9 but still missed a few makeable putts again. None the less very happy with the score with them conditions. Cracking golf course by the way. Round 3 looks a tougher test, Bobs got his sadist head on lmao. |

Round 2 Thanks Mel but it didn't last long :-) Lost my way with the putter on 14 and 15, put the hurts on my card but pleased with the swing. Nice Ace Les, thumbs up!  |
