Round 3 - Very much an 'up and down' round, but I'm not unhappy with my net 71. This must be, without doubt, one of the best 2019 courses out there, it really has everything. Looking forward to the final round...

Round 3 What a mish mash front 9 this was, bogey start eagle and birdie to get back into it then another fat lady on 7 finding the aqua minerali twice, then finding it again off tee on 8, finished the 9 with a bird. I certainly didn't expect what happened on back 9 with 5 birds and an eagle to salvage the round. Another round of 2 halves.

Great recovery Les on the back 9 🥳 Did you find and remove the extra sand Bob had added to your bag ?🤔😁 Just like the pros, a good round can “get away” or suddenly we relax, thinking “sod it” and go for the shots? How many times have we seen the real pros who have a great round 😄start with a bogie or worse ? 😤 Well done Mel

Great round Ian, best of the scores so far, don’t rule yourself out, but only 1 player in it as overall leader🤔…none of the 3 shown 😱 PS Where did you get my photo from? 😂🤣🤯 Mel

Round 4…..After my comment to Ian about pros playing a great round after an early bogie😟 Clearly I have taken that advice, and every round has had an early bogie😠 this round on the Par 4 2nd, when the tee shot ran into the rough…..despite enough club…or so I thought🤔 I fell short into the drink🤬. Pleased to get a quick “bounce back” with birdies on 3 and 4. A birdie on 7 started a very pleasing run of 10 birdies in 11 holes. A chip in on 13 after missing the green was a bonus. No eagle this round…..missing an Eagle putt on 16, but cannot complain on a tough high wind day. Just hoping I have squeezed into some points……even with Bob’s par 73 course😳😢😂 (-12 +8 +1) -3 Net ? Great fun, although stressful😓 Mel

even with Bob’s par 73 course😳😢😂 (-12 +8 +1) -3 Net ? The par 73 makes no difference to us the guests , however it does give the pros an extra 4 shot advantage on top of our handicaps. In my opinion that shouldn't happen, in your case -12 + 8 should = -4 regardless of the course par, but its not up to me thats just my opinion. In the scheme of things 4 shots every time this situation occurs can make a massive difference to money won and the Charles Schwab points.

Round 4 Took Mel around with me to try learn something, and what i learned was my putting and chipping are letting me down big time. I am serious when i say i have a better short game in real golf than i do on here, its appalling on here. Still had a decent round but could have been much better if i improved my short game. The 2 fat ladies i had this week ended my challenge. Onwards. Good round Mel.

Round 4 - Been a busy weekend and had to rush through this round to finish the tourney. Probably didn't make any difference to my scoring I have to say! Really enjoyed the course this week - not so much my poor play. Oh well, next week is another week, and soon time for the Christmas break... I take on board the par 72/73 issue - after the break all events will have a 4-round par of 288 (4 x 72).
