The European seniors tour had two consecutive years about 12 years ago( Handa sponsors I think) close to where I live in Melton Mowbray, at Stapleford Park Free entry and many greats such as Sam Torrance, Tony Johnson, Mark James, Bill Langmuir, Christy O’Connor jnr. Played the course several times before, and after. Not the best course to play, but a few very good holes including the first Par 4 at 280 yards which many senior pros could drive the green over the bunkers…….I was very happy to drive around 200 and wedge in! Birdied once in about 10 rounds 🏌️♂️😉👍 Shame the course closed a few years ago. Mel

It would be neat to do a European seniors tour, if we could find all the stats for Bob, and appropriate courses.

Ian's artistic creativity knows no bounds!!!
And any tour is playable using the PLAYTOURGOLF format, as long as we can access the tournament leaderboards for the particular tour and year that we want to play.
We can use any courses we want to, real or fictional. It matters not, it just matters that the courses are good ones!!

I played in the Seniors Championship earlier this year ( UK Amateur ) played ok apart from a few bad holes over the 2 days, finished 45th in the Country which isn't too bad i suppose but could easily have been better. In my age group 60 - 64 years i finished 18th. Enjoyed the experience so will be doing it next year and as long as my health allows. www.golfgenius.com/pages/8186393151955549348

Wow Les, I am very impressed. I see your name and club. Great experience no doubt. I think you and Ian in particular have an excellent history in real golf. My best H/C was 14 when around 60 after starting golf at 55. At 73 now and 19 H/C just waiting to get clearance to play again with some surgery and other stuff due. Great social activity, and I told my wife some years ago….”.golfers live 5 years longer than no golfers” according to a study Not sure if that is good news or not for her..🏌️♂️😂🫣😂🤔🤣

Cheeky…….There is a good (golfing) reason for us oldies watching ladies golf…….so I’m told, as their swing tempo, technique etc is more appropriate than us trying to copy the pros swings. Blair O’Neil (Sky Golfing tips) very good to watch for several reasons….🥳😂🏌️♂️

A woman on tours golf swing is poetry in motion, lovely tempo and effortless, we could learn a lot from them. They are also very good on the eye to watch
