The tour will consist of 25 events, one event to be held each week.
There were 5 'Major' events on the 2015 schedule, and these all consisted of 4 rounds each.
However, all the other events, bar the final one, consisted of only 3 rounds. So to make things a little more fun and interesting, we will play these 3-round events as 4-round events. The 'old pros' Round 4 scores will be selected at random using a program that will apply a round score to each old pro from a range of the lowest to highest scores from Round 3. So when commencing the final round, you will not know any of the old pros scores for that round, you will only know their scores at the end of Round 3. So you will, in effect, be playing Round 4 'blind' - very similar to real life I think.
The leaderboard for the first 3 rounds will be published during the week, normally on Thursdays, Fridays/Saturdays, and Sundays. The final leaderboards will be published on Mondays.
Setting Conditions
I will NEVER combine fast or very fast greens with Pin 4.
Stronger winds will be used sparingly. Wind settings will usually be Medium, Low or None.
Charles Schwab Cup
The Charles Schwab Cup is a season-long, earnings-based competition to determine the PGA TOUR Champions' top player.
Points are given to players who finished in the top 10. One point was earned for each $1,000 won (i.e. $500,000 = 500 points) with Majors counting double. From the Cup's inception in 1990 through 2015, the top 30 players competed in the Charles Schwab Cup Championship, which was contested over four rounds and where all contestants earned points.
Earnings tables and Charles Schwab Cup standings will be published on a regular basis.
