Round 4 - Ian McKinley shot a 71, his best round of the week, helping him to avoid bottom spot. Bob Fletcher was so disgusted with his play he walked off the course after nine holes, otherwise he may well have still finished in the middle of the leaderboard. Tiger Woods couldn't find his A-game all week but a level par 72 today still saw him finish in a tie for 6th place. Les Souter needed something special in this tourney to overhaul Tiger in the Autumn Cup standings, and he did just that! With an overnight lead of ten strokes he just about held things together to shoot a 71, and in the process won the WGC-AmEx Championship by a massive nine shots AND also the Autumn Cup!! I will shortly publish a review of the 2000 PGA Tour season, after which we will have a break before the next tour - the 2015 CHAMPIONS TOUR, where players will compete for the Charles Schwab Cup over 25 events, all of which will consist of 4 rounds, so watch out for further news...
