The next tour will be based on a CHAMPIONS TOUR season. Not sure which one, that's yet to be decided.
I doubt whether most of the courses actually used will be available, so I'm open to suggestions as to any we could use - real or fictional, as long as they are very good!!

Thoughts on the Champions Tour
Champions Tour events consist of only 3 rounds. Our Champions Tour events will consist of 4 rounds.
Where will the pros' 4th round scores come from? Well, I propose to pick their scores at random from a range of the highest and lowest scores from Round 3. That will make the final round interesting because you will not know what score you will need to win in Round 4, just a very rough idea. What are your thoughts on this?
I am currently looking at Champions Tour seasons from 2000 to 2021 to decide which one to play...

2015 had 25 events - so the tour would take around 6 months to complete.
Through the 2015 season, the Charles Schwab Cup was a season-long points race. Points were given to players who finished in the top 10. One point was earned for each $1,000 won (i.e. $500,000 = 500 points) with majors counting double. From the Cup's inception in 1990 through 2015, the top 30 players competed in the Charles Schwab Cup Championship, which was contested over four rounds and where all contestants earned points.
Most of the tournaments are played over three rounds (54 holes), but the 5 senior majors have a full 72 holes (four rounds).
Weather
The PGA site shows weather details for each round of every tournament, together with expansive tournament notes and information.
Should we try to adhere to the real weather? Or choose conditions at random? One thing, I doubt whether we will use VERY HIGH winds in any tournament.

I like it - the only thing I would suggest is Pro clubs only - I was looking at the driving stats and they are about 40 yards behind the young guys. We would start a new handicap system - and play five rounds to establish handicap - so all would start 0. And we would establish handicap after first event what do you think

Yes Ian, PRO clubs only is a very good shout.
And I agree that 1) we should start a new Handicap calculation, and 2) everyone starts at 0 for the first event, and 3) new handicaps start from event 2.
I think I'll start working on the schedule and look at some courses.
What are your thoughts on weather conditions?

Event 18, Washington - Snoqualmie Ridge is OUT, it has only one pin.
I played Valmont in Med/V Fast/Firm/Pin 4 and shot a level par 72 - no issues with green speed or Pin 4. Big elevation changes, could be the perfect replacement...

Had a quick round at the Four Seasons Hualalai - not a bad course, but wide open and quite boring I thought.
So for event 1 we will use KAIUMA BAY.

Promenade and White Rapids don't seem to exist, so I tried WINTERGREEN. Nice course, good layout, and only 6,800 yards, but I shot -7 so it's far too easy - and OUT...
