Round 1 Nice course.... Had a rough start then settled down, missed a couple birdie putts and shouldn't have missed the 3 footer on 13, took it for granted   |

Round 1 - After a 2-week absence it was good to get back to tour play, and I was more than happy with my round. Shame about the 2 annoying bogeys but at least I putted quite well. Very good course too I might add. Highlight was a birdie on the monster par 4 12th...

Round 2 - A solid front nine was pleasing, but things didn't go according to plan after 13 holes. An unfortunate water ball knocked me back on #14, and I nearly recovered the lost shot on both #17 and #18, but both birdie putts stopped agonisingly short of the cup. Another sub-par round though, that's the positive...

Round 3 - Found some form on the first 10 holes and was looking forward to a special score. The birdies suddenly dried up, and on the 16th disaster struck. I had a Very Fast on the tee and finished against a tree, blocking any path to the pin. Dropped 2 shots but got one back on #17 - and almost got the other one back too on #18, but it wasn't to be. Pleased with the score but should have been better...

Round 4 - After the front nine I had visions of another win, but that back nine has caused me problems in every round and today was no exception. An over-aggressive birdie putt on #10 cost me a shot and a poorly played 15th cost me another. On the positive side I putted well, unexpected on very fast greens, but missed a few chances, and my play was very steady. At least I was consistent all week, and I think this is one of the best courses we've played on this tour.
