Round 1 - If the weather forecast was right, this should be the toughest round of the event. High winds had to be negotiated and a bad round today may not have been the end of the tourney. Both Bob Fletcher (74) and last week's winner, Les Souter (73), found it difficult out there, while Ian McKinley (72) didn't do much better, but all three have plenty of time to make up lost ground - in theory. The best guest was Randy Grant whose 68 gave him a solid platform on which to build the rest of his challenge this week...
