With 3 events to play, Tiger Woods still heads the Autumn Cup earnings list, despite not playing in several tourneys. Les Souter, in second place, closed the gap significantly with his runner-up finish in the Tampa Bay Classic and could still catch Tiger if he maintains last week's good form. As for the top earner of the whole season, Tiger appears to have clinched that title, meaning nobody managed to 'TAME THE TIGER' this year...  |

With his win in the NCR Golf Classic Les Souter has dislodged Tiger Woods from the top spot in the Autumn Cup standings - and with only two events left to play he has a great chance to stay there, but only if he can maintain his recent good form...
Meanwhile, Tiger's high finish last week ensures that he will finish the season as the top money-earner...

Although he did not win the Tour Championship last week, Tiger Woods still regained top spot in the Autumn Cup standings - with only one event left to play!!
Les Souter can still overtake The Tiger, being less than $214,000 behind, but he will need to play very well and win a big payout!!

The winner of the AUTUMN CUP is LES SOUTER!!Les won the WGC-AmEx Championship, the final event of the season, to overtake Tiger Woods!!
Tiger was the top earner of the whole 2000 season - so nobody managed to 'TAME THE TIGER'!!
