Round 3 - Still just a light wind, but the greens had continued to dry out and were quite dry and fast. Randy Grant shot the best score of his week so far, a 70, but his putting left a lot to be desired. At least he hauled himself off the foot of the leaderboard. The faster the greens the more Ian McKinley likes it, and he also carded his best round of the event, a creditable 65, a score that although lifted him into a share of 6th spot leaves him with no chance of winning. The two halfway front runners increased their advantage over the pack. Bob Fletcher played well for his 65, which included just the one bogey, but now trails the overnight leader, Les Souter, by three strokes. Les recorded the best round of the day, a sizzling 63, and is in prime position to win again at last - or will he snatch defeat from the jaws of victory hehe..?!

Round 4 - The course had completely dried out, making the greens very, very quick. On the plus side there was hardly any wind to deal with. Ian McKinley was a no-show today and we hope it was because he was just feeling unwell, and nothing worse. Randy Grant again had a torrid time out there, coming in with a 73 to finish in last place. Going into this round Bob Fletcher had a three-stroke deficit to make up on overnight leader Les Souter. In truth, Bob never looked like catching Les and, as expected, his putting suffered on the glass-like putting surfaces, and he could only card a 72. However, he still claimed second spot to end a good week's work. On the other hand, Les excelled in the dry conditions and registered a 65, the equal best round of the day with Scott Hoch. Les's winning margin of ten strokes was not flattering at all, his excellent play fully deserving of such a dominant victory, his first since the FedEx St Jude Classic nearly three months ago.
