I played a round at Valhalla to have a look at the course in general but especially the greens. I played in high winds, fast greens and pin 4, and shot a 67 (-5) - which means the course is relatively easy, even though it's over 7,700 yards in length. The greens are pretty straightforward so I've had to ramp up the wind a bit, otherwise a couple of us (you know who you are!) would shoot some ridiculous scores. You still might, but I've tried to set conditions that will produce scores similar to the pros in the actual tourney. Round 1 - Very good course, and a lot of subtle greens, what a refreshing change!! Generally drove well, no water balls, made a few good par putts but not enough birdie putts. Would have liked an under-par opening round but it wasn't to be, mainly because I bogeyed the two monster par 4's. It could have been worse...

Round 1 Came out the traps well this round and kept going, was fortunate to sink a couple of monster putts especially on 10th for an eagle. One blip on the card on 17th but very happy with the start.  |

Round 2 This is a tough round some fairways were not reachable from the tee, a poor start and when i eventually got a bird i followed up with a snot, same after bird on 10th a snot on 11, however finished the round well which was pleasing.  |

Round 2 - A dream start saw me bag two birds in the first four holes. Then, inevitably, the bubble burst on #5 with a double after an overly aggressive par putt. Still wobbly on #6 where another stroke went, grabbed an excellent bird on #8, then disappointingly bogeyed #9. So far, so good, not a bad score at the turn in these conditions. A solid bird on #10 took me back to level par, but another wobble in the middle of the back saw two shots lost. Then on #16 my driver approach left a very makeable birdie putt and it toppled in the side door. Probably should have birdied #18 but I'm very happy with my play and score - this could easily have been the round to destroy my hopes, but I'm still there...

wifi is questionable here and laptop is getting old - onward  Lost interest part way through - too many Dr's - should have just stopped and restarted - love the challenge tho - no 63's possible in that round  |

Opps!!!!!!! Lost my first round image........ My Bad !!! Round 2 For starters, I have to be the worst putter there is   3 water balls didn't help either, the 7th ,13th got me for 2. The 13th hole got me in the first round too......Not paying attention......Nice drives though lol What can I say.............. Next! randy |

Round 3 This game never ceases to amaze me, your going along quite nicely -3 thru 5, then suddenly you get hit with shooters, clubs travelling 30 yards short of the distance and no matter what you try nothing works, yet your using the same tempo etc you were using at the start, this went on for 9 holes then it went back to normal, then it suddenly lets you get an eagle. I've now got no chance in this event. TGC2019 YOU ARE GETTING BORING NOW.  |

Round 3 - Went into this round completely cold and was pretty solid, just a shame about the one bogey. Missed so many putts I lost count, my score could have been so much better, and these greens are not really difficult, just subtle, I like them a lot.

Round 4 Just about had it with this online Golf malarky too many glitches and unexplained shots, over the time on these games no matter what game it is WGT, PP, 2K21 or this one, they seem to allow you to play a few good rounds then for no reason you cannot play or the games give you glitches, i suppose its their way of programming it to try and make it realistic. I wonder how some players never seem to get this crap in all the games.  |

Round 4 - Another very frustrating time with my putter. I should have sunk at least six putts out there. Lost my timing towards the end of the round, on the 14th I even had a 'Very Slow' that led to a double - I have no idea where that came from. Oh well, I enjoyed the course but think I made the conditions just a little too tough. Hey ho...
