Round 3 - The wind has remained constant since the beginning of the tourney, but today the greens were a little quicker, and the pins possibly a little easier. As the event has progressed Randy Grant's form has worsened round by round, and his 74 saw him descend into a share of 56th place. The opposite has been the case with Bob Fletcher and another improved round, this time of 67, saw him pass Randy in an upward direction. Les Souter recorded his best score of the week so far, a fine 66, that saw him zoom up the leaderboard into a tie for 20th spot. Les now lies only one shot behind Tiger Woods who also found some form at last, his 67 giving him every chance of a decent finish in the final round. Ian McKinley was again a man on a mission and seems intent on destroying the opposition. Even though his 66 today was his worst round of the tournament, it served to extend his lead from two to seven strokes, and another addition to the Canadian's trophy cabinet looks inevitable - barring a catastrophe in Round 4...
