Round 4 - There was no wind at all for the final round, and the only potential problem were the ultra-fast greens. Bob Fletcher struggled with his putting and all other aspects of his game, carding an abysmal 75 and thereby ending the week as he had started it. Randy Grant didn't enjoy the greens today too, but seemed to also be distracted by Bob's stylish clothing, and the resulting 73 was a disappointing end to his tourney. Tiger Woods could only put together a 68 to finish tied 13th, but I suspect he was already thinking about next week's PGA Championship at Valhalla. Les Souter produced his best round of the event, an admirable 65 to finish in a very creditable share of 5th spot, and Les appears to have found his A-game just in time for the third Major of the 2000 season. The same could be said of the impressive Ian McKinley, who also fired a very good 65 to win the tournament by a massive nine shots. On this form Ian must rank as one of the favourites for Valhalla, and it will be fascinating to see if he can add a Major title to the four regular event wins to his name so far this season...
