Round 3 - Heavy overnight rain means the drenched greens will be a lot slower today. That, combined with strong winds, made this a difficult round. Charlie Roberts, who had looked solid during the first half of the tournament, had a personal disaster when he came in with a very uncharacteristic 80 which ended his interest in the event. That was also the case for Bob Fletcher who found the conditions difficult to cope with and could only post a 75. Randy Grant had to wait until the 18th before hitting his first decent approach shot, and spending a lot of time in the rough today meant he was restricted to a round of 72. Les Souter battled well to shoot a 70, although that left him 6 strokes off the lead so it looks like it will be another week without a win for Les. Ian McKinley had to draw on all his experience to also fire a bogey-free 70, which means he lies only 3 shots behind the new pacesetter, tour pro Robert Allenby. Overnight leader Hans Kunok lies a single stroke behind after also recording a 70, so with one round to play it's still not clear who will win this week...
