Round 3
One good approach shot and that was on #18. Took me two or 3 hole to find the fairways. Fumbled around in the rough most of the way.

Round 4
Started rocky and stayed there the whole way. Never did get anything going this week......

Another round, another train wreck. Number 6 sank me again, this time with a plugged drive in the vertical (right) side of the left fairway bunker. To get out of the bunker and back to the fairway, I aimed to the right side of the fairway with a 7 iron. The ball did not get the memo; I made a good swing, but the ball darted left out of the bunker to hit the water. Hit the water one more time on 6 before finishing. Hit the water again off the tee on the very next hole. So I hit 3 balls in the water in the stretch of those two holes. Played pretty decent, 3 under, for the remaining holes; but not well enough to make up the six-shot deficit. Swing timing remains a problem, primarily on irons shots. I still seem to hit the driver fairly well. And it did not help that my connection dropped after 5 holes. I was in a rhythm, and had to get out of Steam and come back in to reconnect. It must be a Steam problem; nothing wrong with my internet. On a more positive note, I have finished 7 holes on one course design and 11 holes on the other. But that's pretty much all I have done this past week - course design work. On to next week.  |
