Were getting hammered here in central Ohio, as of now it looks like 8 to 10 inches and were only half way through the storm. Their calling for an additional 6 to 9 inches by Friday morning.
It started with raining ice and on top of that came the snow along with 30 mph wind gusts.....Nothing new of my area but nasty it is never the less.
I made it in to work but no postal trucks made the destination so, they told us to go home......That's a first I can remember not moving mail.
About what I do....
I take bulk postal mail from the hub here and deliver it to the outlying post offices, there are three of us that do this for 15 little town with a P.O. Around a 100 mile circle for me. I use a 28 foot truck to do my route.
I go back out in the afternoon or early evening at closing time and pick up all the mail people sent out that day then take it back to the hub (main Post Office) which in turn loads all the mail
onto a semi headed for Cleveland, OH. From there it makes its way around the world......
Looks like a good day to tee it off.......Foreeeeeee!!!!
