Round 1 - My first tour round with my new shortened swing. Not too bad. Needs to be honed so that I know if I'm going to get a 'perfect' or a 'fast' at the top. At least I'm more confident with approaches as I have a little more control over the line of the ball. Once again, however, my putting cost me at least a couple of shots, but the downhillers seemed to be quicker than I expected them to be. Going to be a Work In Progress for a while methinks...

Round 2 - Put the new swing to another test, and it held up very well. Getting a mixture of fasts and perfects, but the fasts are not that bad. Disappointing front, a nervous bogey on #1 and an unlucky water ball on #8, but I did make several good pars. Also made good pars on the back, but also grabbed a couple of birds. The round could easily have been destroyed by 2 Very Fasts on #17 and #18, but I made two great par saves. The future is looking bright, but still a way to go...

Round 2 Something about this course that doesn't agree with my tempo, fasts, slows, very fasts all in there yet i use same tempo every shot, i ve experienced this on other courses but not to this level. Very poor round shame its a nice looking course. Onwards to next week.  |

I could not agree more Les - very discouraging that they show up at the worst times, I totally agree its only on some designs - now I seem to be getting the shooter putts more and more everywhere - I wonder if it mite be time to delete steam and 2019 and do a reload - I know I had to do that at PG more than once. Round 3 Took Randy around with me today who had a steady round with a hiccup on holes 11,12, could have been better but greens with this speed were a nightmare, as you can see from my horrendous start my putting was awful with shooters etc. After hole 4 i went into the couldn't give a fcuk mode and went for everything and alas it worked Onwards to the new season.  |

Round 4 This course does not play well on my computer, however i got off to a steady start then BOOM a shooter putt, fired back with back to back chirpers then BOOM 12,13 and 14 shooting snots. Holed a chip for eagle on 16 as a consolation prize. Must say i am absolutely delighted this course is over and may it never darken my computer screen again. ONWARDS.  |

Round 4 - Was determined not to have a repeat of my Round 3 which was carnage (the reason I didn't post my card). The front wasn't too bad, but my approach to #6 found water and a double followed. Hit back on #7 with a very good birdie putt to ease the pain. Played ok on the back with a mix of my old swing and my new swing, seemed to work ok lol. Glad to see the back of Bay Hill's greens, I hope Sawgrass is a little flatter...
