Round 3 - I have to agree Mark, they were worse than Pin 4, and I thought this was going to be the easiest round! Thought I putted very well generally, holed several mid-range putts, usually for par, but lost my self-discipline on the greens for a couple of holes, especially the 11th where I 4-putted (always a hard one to swallow). Not too displeased with my score, but this course has given me nothing on the greens and I'm glad I only have more more beating to take from Waialae...

Do you guys play together? I wouldn't mind joining you all if you'd have me, usually the more the merrier though I'm always worried about any club or organization that will accept me! Lol

5th hole is an illegal hole, Finished round 3 out with +11 over par 81.

After a reasonable 1st round, right back to my usual in round 2. A disastrous start then limping in then, go and eagle the 18th, go figure!

Yes Mark, Ian and I sometimes play tour rounds together, and Charlie joined us for the first time for a 9-hole practice the other night. You'd be very welcome to join up for practice or tour rounds or just fun in general.
I will invite you and Charlie (he had chat box problems when we played) to a Steam chat that Ian and I use. I suspect Les might also be interested, so I'll invite him too. And maybe even Randy - wow, we'll have enough for a football team soon LOL...
Different time zones can be a problem but I'm sure we'll work it out...

-2 68 and I earned every birdie.... Every bogey too. Those pins were 1, yeah, that's one tough track. Done with the luau, let's bring it to the mainland! lol

Round 3 Took Bob and Ian around with me for this and its a one to forget, absolute nightmare on greens, was doing ok after 12 holes but the last 6 i just folded like a pack of cards, back to the drawing board. Onwards. Great finish from Ian by the way.  |

Rd 3, I'm almost sure if the holes had like a foot of sand around the pin I would have birdied every hole because I didn't have a problem at all hitting every sand trap on the course........

Round 4. Took Charlie and Mark with me for this round, gave the greens too much respect first 7 holes then found the breaks on 9 sinking a long eagle which set me up for a decent back 9. Enjoyed the tourney onwards to next week. Good round for Charlie and Mark left a few out there too.  |

Round 4 - Les came round for the practice, not that he needs much, I think the rust has completely disappeared now! I started great, had a bad run of holes, then ended the front with a bird. Stayed solid on the back but messed up a couple of birdie chances. Goodbye Waialae, it's been emotional...
