Ian, I do worry about you a lot my friend, and this is why! Have you ever considered seeking psychiatric help?! Yes I have but they have all turned me down, and by the way I did not post that picture - Les did a fantastic job IMO

Round 3, Took the old coot around with me this time, I'm not sure if i dragged him down to my level or vice versa, had a good front 9 but putter fell apart on the back with them exploding putts out the blue. All in all happy with the rest of the game chipping still needs work but getting there. Onwards.

Round 3 - Ian came round with me for the company. After the front it looked like my challenge this week was falling apart. Putting was terrible, but got my head together on the inward nine to stage a rearguard action and salvage the round - and my challenge...

It took me a few holes to develop a feel for the speed of the greens; seemed to play slower than moderate. Managed to put together some good holes after that.

Round 4 Terrible putting round, 3 and 4 putts in there cost me a lot of shots, but first event over onwards to next week.

Rd 4 Hold onto your seat, it's like riding a rocket on the greens.

Rd 4 74, almost had ace on 8, super tough keeping anything below the hole, made some par putts to salvage something.

Round 4 - After reading players' comments I was a bit apprehensive about this round, so tried to concentrate really hard so as not to make any stupid mistakes. Played pretty solidly, made some good par saves, but missed a birdie putt on #15 that I should have holed - and it could prove very costly. Considering the conditions I am more than happy with my score, a net 71, and it's been a good week...

R4. Tough greens, but I hit some good approaches that left makeable putts.
