Round 2 - Our overnight leader, Roger Instell, turned the screw on the rest of the field today when he shot the joint best round of the day, a very competent 67 considering the conditions, and a score that more than doubled his lead to seven strokes! Ian McKinley, who loves very quick greens, played well for a 69 and is now tied 8th, albeit eleven shots adrift of Roger. Charlie Roberts' solid 70 sees him one shot behind Ian in a share of 12th, while a further two strokes behind Charlie is Bob Fletcher, who survived a difficult day by shooting a level par 72. Mark Lipping is not having the tournament he planned and today's 71 leaves him with a mountain of work to do to catch the leaders from his lowly tied 50th position. Round 4 - This week saw the most dominating performance from a 'guest' player this season. Right from the get-go Roger Instell took an instant liking to Glen Abbey and he completed an amazing 13-shot win with a closing 67 today. Ian McKinley squeezed into a very commendable 2nd place by grabbing an eagle on the final hole, which helped him shoot his third consecutive 69 of the week. Charlie Roberts produced his best round of the tourney, a fine 68, which rewarded him with a share of 5th, while Bob Fletcher signed off with an even par 72 to leave him in a tie for 16th. Mark Lipping will be disappointed with his form this week, finishing with his best round of the event, a 70, which edged him into the top half of ther leaderboard, but perhaps he's saving himself for next week's Open Championship at St Andrews...
