We take a 1-week break from the 1970 PGA Tour before we begin playing the next 10 events which constitute the 'Summer Bowl', events that include the US Open and the British Open Championship. For those wanting to continue playing this week, I have set up the 2015 PGA Championship at Whistling Straits. That's the beauty of PLAYPGATOUR - if the leaderboard is available, we can replicate any tournament, quite often using the same course originally used by the real professionals. Round 1 - Dustin Johnson was fast out of the blocks by shooting a 66, the best round of the day. The nearest 'guest' to him was Ian McKinley who hit a solid 71, earning him a tie for 24th spot. Mark Lipping and Nate Arteezy were close behind after their 72's, while Bob Fletcher struggled with his game and could only card a disappointing 77.

Round 4 - Well, none of the guest players came anywhere close to depriving Jason Day of his Major win at Whistling Straits this week, but I hope we still enjoyed the challenge! In the end Bob Fletcher, with a final round 70, was the best of the guests, finishing tied for 25th and rueing his poor opening round. In a share of 31st, a single stroke back from Bob, was Mark Lipping who signed off with a 71, and a further stroke back was Nate Arteezy after a subdued 73 today. Ian McKinley, who also shot a 71, finished at 1 over par in a tie for 64th, but I think he's saving himself for next week's tourney at TPC Southwind...
