Originally played at Hidden Hills in 1970, our event will take place at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel near Orlando. The Central Florida landscape provided inspiration to legendary golf course player and designer Greg Norman, who worked with nature to create challenging greens, wide fairways and hazards. The 18-hole championship course is a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary and tests the abilities of every skill level.
Are you refreshed after the 1-week break? I hope so, because this is the first of 10 events where we will be competing to win the SPRING SWING trophy, awarded to the player who has earned the most prizae-money in those 10 events. And of course there is also the trophy for the season's highest money-earner to think about...

Round 4 - There were no real surprises today as tournament leader Mark Lipping finally slowed up to card a 72, a score that was good enough to maintain his 15-stroke advantage. Juan Aetee also recorded a 72 to finish second, a shot ahead of PGA Pro's Dale Douglass and Don January, the latter shooting the best score of the round, a well-worked 66, no mean feat in today's difficult conditions. Bob Fletcher suffered a horrid round, his card so full of red numbers it resembled a bloodbath, and a 77 saw him slip down to a tie for 12th spot. Roger Instell experienced an even worse fate, a nightmare 85, which saw him drop like a stone to a share of 74th place with Marty Fleckman. Unfortunately Ian McKinley wasn't able to finish due to ill health and we hope he recovers soon and wish him well. Winner Mark Lipping can put his victory down to his stunning performance over the first three rounds, his scores of 67, 61 and 63 being the best on all three days. Will anyone be able to stop him acquiring a third title of the season next week in the National Airlines Open?!
