You guys keep shooting the lights out however hard I make the settings, you're just too good!!!
I'm out of ideas as to how I can make the conditions tougher - maybe I'll have to look at changing something else!! Maybe getting rid of the overheads?!! If that's even possible!!

By the way if anyone shoots lights out this week they will do well, i cannot see a guest getting anywhere near the top of leader board if round one is anything to go by. |

Round 1 Very tough conditions never got going at all, 1 bird and 1 eagle were highlights the rest was poo, going to be a tough week  |

ROUND 1I was a little worried when I saw Les's score and it probably helped me focus from the very first hole. I drove the ball well, approaches were good, and the putter was strangely reliable. Managed the course very well, even driving with a 3-wood on a couple of holes. The 17th was disappointing, botched my approach and the resulting chip - but still very happy with my score...

After thinking about what you said here - you are correct scores are out of hand compared to the real world, So what I am going to personally do is switch to MASTER Clubs, because you are correct it gets boring 1/2 way through any round - I don't expect to win much but it may make the game more exciting as a challenge again. So maybe like the seniors we insisted on Pro clubs maybe moving forward we insist on Master Clubs - just a thought Let me explain my thoughts better - as we all know each course and settings seems to play a bit different - and after 1 or 2 holes we (well at least myself) find the rhythm as it were but the little I have played master clubs the margin of error becomes greater - another virtual trophy does not mean Chit to me - but keeping the game fun does (by fun I do not mean low scores) by fun I mean a challenge. These are just my thoughts so don't shoot me in the back, I am just a tired old man.  Ian |

ROUND 2Had a great front, but then struggled to hole any putts on the back. Played one hole badly and it cost me 2 strokes, but although I got one of them back on #18 I was 6 inches away from getting two back. However, overall I have to be pleased with the score bearing in mind the conditions...
