Round 1Played steadily, no expectation, scrambled well, a few putts went close, then disaster on #18!! Even though I overclubbed my second I still got wet via one of the boulders. Shame really but not too downhearted - yet...

Round 1 - played pretty well, putting could and should have been better, left so many putts just short. finally able to show off a clean card!!!

Round 2 - strong winds didn't pose too much trouble as I was already acclimated from round 1 (although some holes had a roaring head wind which made it nearly impossible to reach the green in regulation). the faster greens posed more of a challenge on some holes if you were in the wrong spots. all in all, feeling good about my positioning going into the final 2 rounds!

Round 3 - WOW.. I played out of my mind today, my putter was on fire! took it one hole at a time and when I looked up after the front I was stunned I posted -7. I didn't let it get to me and kept my head down. #15 I flew my approach way past and had a long down hill putt that I sent sailing by causing me to 3 putt, that was the only green that gave me any difficulty. quickly recovered and came to #18, I figured everything was going my way and decided to take a very aggressive line over the water to set up a shorter approach, got too greedy and landed a yard short into the water, was still able to recover and limit the damage. the final round looks to be much more challenging, hopefully todays success will allow my to be conservative!

that is hilarious! I love it! I'm sure the handicaps will work themselves out rather quickly! I'll just have to sand bag some more afterwards 
Not trying to brag or anything (I know some of you do this on the daily) but I still can't believe how well my putting was.. I 1 putted 14 holes and GIR on 17 holes, longest putt made was 32 feet.

Round 1 Cruising along until the 16 then forgot to change out the driver, out-of-bounds on the back of the green......I didn't recover!  |

Round 4 - boy was this a fun one with the wind and fast greens.. I started pretty conservative by aiming for middle of greens and fairways to get a sense of the wind and green speeds. once I got comfortable I was able to get more aggressive and knock down some birdies, then came 8-9 to bring me back to reality. I backed off and gave the course more respect and it rewarded me with a solid back 9 without having to force things, it's funny how well one can play well without trying to beat the course. see you all next week!
