Round 1 - Boy, that was hard work, but a really good challenge. After a tough front on this long course, I fought back and looked like being rewarded with a sub-par round. But a poor chip on the 18th cost me dear, very annoying but it's only the first round. The highlight was my tee to the par 3 13th. Looking forward to the rest of the tourney...

Round 1 Good start then that 144 speed became fast for me, like ive said before its the most inconsistent of the green speeds on this game, ended up a poor front 9. Graphics were also all over the place for me which some courses do so i left it and came back to it today. Seemed to work as had a much better experience on the back 9. Tough course but i like it.  |

Round 2 This is a real tricky round with some slippery putts, its a tough test on a good course, in my opinion any guest winning here this week will have played great. Onwards.  |

Round 2 - Agreed Les, I can't see a guest winning here, it's too tough, even in mild conditions. Great course though. Messed up #9, had a great birdie on #13 again, but the highlight was a chip-in bird on #15. Had four birdie putts that missed by a fraction, exasperating...

I totally lost the graphics - then out of the blue - started very slows which are a game killer - and don't remember what hole but got 3 rocket putts -not sure what hole i finished on but i dropped mouse on the floor shaking - then rolled over the cord with my chair - so once i get another mouse I will try to finish.
Les any idea why graphics got so bad or is it my eyes

Les any idea why graphics got so bad or is it my eyes Hi Ian, I've had some problem the last week or so of my game crashing 2 or 3 times a round........ I put in a support ticket to HB. Their reply was lightning fast. He had me do some regular testing but when I got to the "Clean Boot" step, I clicked on steam and it said the steam client needed repaired. I tried from the popup to repair and it just disappeared, nothing happened. I did it manually by deleting everything in my steam folder except "steamapps", moved that folder to my desktop, replaced it when I reinstalled steam. Played 18 holes with no crashes finally. Fingers are crossed :-) |

Les any idea why graphics got so bad or is it my eyes It wont be your eyes if others are experiencing the same Ian, for me some courses are very demanding on my graphics card, I have to go into game settings and lower the Quality level to get a better playing experience buddy. Other than that my technical knowledge is limited. |

Round 3 - Just getting my rounds played before we hit the road on Friday. Had to work so hard just to earn a gross level par round!! Missed a few birdie chances again, putting was a bit wobbly, shot timing was also suspect towards the end. Hope it improves before I play Round 4 later...

Round 4 - Cruising along until the 13th, and a bogey there affected my mindset. So much so that another dropped shot followed on the 14th - I HATE bogeying a par 5!!! Hit back with three birdies, then a stupid second shot on the 18th found water - and another bogey on a par 5!!! Oh well, best round of the week for me, and I did enjoy this deceptively difficult course...

Round 3  Round 4 Horrendous graphics for all rounds especially 3 and 4 on top of that shooters, very fasts etc glad its over, dam shame i like the course.  |
