Post scorecards and comments here. R1. Could have been disastrous; turned out to be only poor. So far I find this the toughest course we have played, which is surprising. Everything is laid out in front of you; no tricked up holes. But there is a lot of slope on the fairways that is difficult to judge; and some holes with the wind at your back call for caution. I hit a 3 iron over 250 yards on one that left me around 45 yards behind the green. Glad to survive.  |

Played better in R2. 7 birdies, no bogies.

Round 1 - Ian had already played but tagged along for some practice. I made a good start and overall played and putted well. It was the 2 double-bogeys that ruined this round, without them it would have been a good effort. I never liked this course, maybe the layout, maybe the number of long par 4's, I don't know, just want to get this event finished and move on...

Round 1 Started steady but yet again putter on these 187 greens let me down, im giving them to much respect. Back 9 same story left a lot of makeable putts slip away. Onwards.  |

Round 2 Took the old man out for a spin and i must say was impressed with his golf, nice round Ian. However i got off to a very shaky start and after 7 holes came out and took a break for a while and it helped, not a great score but after the start im happy with it.  |

Round 2 - This was easily my best ever round here! My driving was very good, and my putting was a revelation. Even my approaches were good. I birdied all four par 5's - not sure if I've ever done that before, usually they're my nemesis. Now I'm almost looking forward to the last two rounds...

Round 3. I dont know what it is with this course i just cannot get nothing going here, the course plays totally different than it does in practice rounds for me and yet again my putting on here was a shambles yet again.One consolation i only have one round left. Onwards.  |

Round 4. Thought i would get this out of the way before the new year and banish this course into 2021. Had a practice round on this one and did quite well, however in real round conditions seem a lot different, similar winds but putting breaks more severe and distances a lot different, anyhow it sold me a dummy in the early holes but i got to grips with it and had a very respectable back 9, pleased with the round. Onwards to next week. Happy new year guys have a good one, cheers.  |
